- Errors encountered have almost always been caused by bad *.NTX index
- files or bad *.MEM files. Both problems are caused by power
- interruptions or by removing the disks from their drives before the
- drive light goes out.
-
- If you can't get into LANDLORD at all, erase both DATADISK.MEM and
- LANDLORD.MEM and re-initialize LANDLORD by running it. You will
- not lose any data by doing this.
-
- You MUST have a CONFIG.SYS file on your boot disk or root directory.
- This file must contain the lines
- BUFFERS = 20
- FILES = 20.
-
- If you have a RAMDISK active remove it from your system before
- running LANDLORD. CONFIG.SYS contains RAMDISK information if used.
-
- If data files seem jumbled or out of sequence Re-Index your files
- using selection 'F' at the Main Selection Menu.
